What to expect

The highlights of this cruise

Embark on a varied cruise to the land of the fjords on board the EUROPA 2. Look forward to quaint fishing villages and pristine nature as far as the eye can see.

The Hanseatic city of Hamburg marks the start of your multifaceted cruise on board the EUROPA 2. After a relaxing day at sea, you will arrive in Stavanger – from here, discover the Lysefjord, one of Norway’s most beautiful fjords surrounded by spectacular nature, on a leisurely boat trip*. In Skjolden, you have the option of taking a helicopter flight* over the Jostedal Glacier, Europe’s largest mainland glacier with impressive formations. With the wind in your face and at high speed, you explore the islands around Molde in RIB boats*, large and manoeuvrable rubber boats. Your cruise continues via Bronnoy to Leknes in the Lofoten Islands, where rugged peaks, deep-green valleys and beautiful beaches await you. Colourful houses and fishing boats in abundance characterise the town of Honningsvag. From here, you can visit North Cape*, where the bright midsummer night creates a special atmosphere for you to soak up. In Tromso, the “gateway to the Arctic Ocean”, look forward to a visit to the Polar Museum* or a ride on a husky summer sled* before you are welcomed by Alesund, Norway’s capital of art nouveau*. In Geiranger, the fjord of the same name stretches out before you – create lasting memories with a spectacular helicopter flight*. To round off your cruise, visit the old Bergen with the historic harbour district Bryggen, which has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, before the EUROPA 2 sets course for Hamburg, where it will bid you farewell.
