Kiel - Hamburg
14 Jun 2026 to 26 Jun 2026|12 days
MS EUROPA 2
EUX2612
The EUROPA 2 welcomes you on board in the harbour of Kiel on the famous fjord and sets course from here for the first Baltic metropolis: Gdansk. The former Hanseatic city boasts a long history, which can be seen in its artfully restored medieval centre or on a trip to Malbork*, one of the mightiest castles built by knights in Europe. The route continues to Klaipeda, from where you will reach the Curonian Spit*. With its sand dunes up to 60 m (197 ft) high and picturesque fishing villages, it was once a summer retreat for Thomas Mann. The capital of Estonia, Tallinn, is impressive with its magnificent Gothic city hall and the imposing Church of the Holy Spirit. Helsinki, also known as the “Paris of the north”, boasts a multifaceted old town and traditional cafes located in old fortress towers and former merchants’ houses. For guests with a head for heights, Stockholm offers a unique city tour* over the roofs of the parliament building. The EUROPA 2 takes you to Copenhagen via the southern Swedish gem of Kalmar, where you can enjoy a bird’s-eye view of the city skyline on a helicopter flight*. After a daytime passage through the impressive Kiel Canal and a final night on board, your cruise ends in Hamburg, the home port of the EUROPA 2.
* The pre- and post-cruise programmes and shore activities are not included in the cruise price and are in the planning stage. Subject to change.

Historic Gamla Stan with its narrow streets and colourful buildings is not to be missed. The Royal Palace and the Vasa Museum, where you can see the Vasa warship that sank in the 17th century, are other highlights. The trendy districts of Sodermalm and Norrmalm appeal thanks to their hip boutiques, cafes and restaurants. The archipelago off the coast provides the ideal natural scenery for boat trips. Stockholm impresses thanks to its combination of history, culture and modern lifestyle.
