The highlights of this cruise

Prepare to be spoilt by the charm of Spanish and Portuguese towns on this route along the Atlantic coast to the Mediterranean.

Your 13-day dream cruise begins in the maritime city of Hamburg, the home port of the EUROPA 2, where the crew will warmly welcome you on board. After a relaxing day at sea, you will see Dover from afar early in the morning, the first destination of your cruise. Experience the famous white cliffs on a hike* or on an excursion to marvellous Canterbury* with its world-famous cathedral and pilgrimage site. The Isle of Wight off the south coast of Great Britain welcomes you with the enchanting Crab Cottage* – enjoy a typical English cream tea here. St Malo, the old town that was once home to the corsairs, still looks like a medieval sea fortress today. You will also fall in love with picturesque Dinan* featuring one of the most beautiful old towns in Brittany. With the Gothic Catedral de Santiago and outstanding art in the fantastic Guggenheim Museum*, Bilbao, the largest city of the Basque Country, is one of the highlights of your cruise. Those interested in culture will feel at home both in Leixoes, the port of Porto, and in Lisbon: the two cities boast magnificent buildings, lively old city centres and charming features such as historic trams. The old town* of Cadiz welcomes you with Andalusian flair and African charm. Ronda*, steeped in history with its magnificent buildings and monuments, is well worth a visit from Marbella. Mingle with high society in the luxury harbour of Puerto Banus on an extended active Segway tour*. The Andalusian city of Malaga, the birthplace of Picasso, is the conclusion of your cruise, which ends here after a final overnight stay on board.
