Originally built by Christian IV as a pleasure palace, it is now a museum where you can admire exhibits such as paintings, furniture and sculpture from the private collections of Danish kings. Short photo stops at Amalienborg Palace*, one of Denmark’s most impressive rococo buildings, and at the city’s landmark, the famous Little Mermaid, round off your perfect day in the Danish capital. Your three-day cruise on board the EUROPA 2 ends the next morning in Kiel, the maritime capital of Schleswig-Holstein.
