The highlights of this cruise

Embark on a multifaceted cruise along the Greek coast towards the Bosporus. Ancient Istanbul with its sultans’ palaces, lively bazaars and cultural treasures shows itself from its most magnificent sides.

No sooner has the EUROPA 2 left the port of Piraeus (Athens) than the anticipation of enchanting Skiathos increases. The town of the same name on the hilly island invites you to stroll around and enjoy. Your cruise continues via the port city of Volos, where you can explore the fascinating Meteora monasteries* in a spectacular location, to the “sky-blue city” of Kavala with its wonderful sandy beaches and unexpectedly charming squares.
The passage through the Dardanelles, the strait that connects the Aegean Sea and the Sea of Marmara, provides fantastic views before you finally reach Istanbul, the bustling metropolis on the Bosporus. During your two-day stay, you have a variety of options to choose from: visit the world-famous mosque Hagia Sophia* as well as the Topkapi Palace* or enjoy the sunset on board a yacht* before the EUROPA 2 reaches the still unknown Cyclades island of Syros with its pastel-coloured houses, classical villas and secluded beaches. The next day, your cruise through the Aegean ends in Piraeus (Athens), where the EUROPA 2 will bid you farewell.
