When you wake up in your suite the morning after departing from Piraeus (Athens), the first dream destination – Santorini – lies in front of your veranda. Visit the quaint villages of Megalochori* and Pyrgos* with their blue-and-white houses nestled against the crater rim. A touch of history awaits you further south on Crete setting out from Agios Nikolaos: the excavation site of Knossos* offers you many an insight into Greek antiquity and a village idyll. After a stay on the largest Cycladic island Naxos, you will reach lively Mykonos, a hotspot with jet-set flair. Stroll through the narrow, winding streets and enjoy the Greek hospitality. In Bodrum, a boat trip on a traditional gulet* offers breathtaking views of the Turkish town and heavenly bays. Paros, which is known for its wonderful beaches and traditional villages, also offers time for a little relaxation. Pure maritime history can be experienced up-close on Hydra with its proud captains’ houses and mansions. The island is very popular with wealthy Athenians.
