What to expect

The highlights of this cruise

Stockholm’s archipelago, historic Tallinn and the Curonian Spit are just some of the highlights of this cruise. A breathtaking route awaits you, showing you the most charming cities of the Baltic Sea.

In Kiel, the EUROPA 2 will welcome you and take you on an inspiring cruise along the Baltic Sea coast. In Stockholm, stroll through the lively city centre with its small boutiques, interesting galleries and antique shops or visit the Royal Palace* and let yourself be transported back to the magnificent baroque era. With its historic architecture and delicious coffee house culture*, Estonia’s Tallinn is a delightful place to visit as well. After your visit to Helsinki, the "Paris of the North" with its magnificent boulevards, you continue to the "Rose City" of Visby. The Baltic States have plenty of history to offer in Riga and Klaipeda. Encounter historic Riga on a walk* and admire the magnificent art nouveau buildings on venerable Alberta iela. As a contrast, you can experience picturesque nature on an excursion to the Curonian Spit*, a UNESCO World Heritage Site – and Klaipeda is the perfect starting point for this. After a stopover in the Polish city of Gdansk and a visit to the famous Malbork Castle*, the EUROPA 2 will moor in the cosy metropolis of Copenhagen, which is not only home to royal Denmark but also to a modern cosmopolitan lifestyle. With a passage through the Kiel Canal and a final overnight stay on board, your cruise will then end in Hamburg.

  • The historic old town of Gamla Stan with its narrow streets and colorful buildings is an absolute must*. The Royal Palace and the Vasa Museum*, which houses the Vasa warship that sank in the 17th century, are further highlights. The trendy districts of Södermalm and Norrmalm entice visitors with their hip boutiques, cafés and restaurants. The archipelago islands off the coast offer an idyllic natural backdrop for boat trips. Stockholm impresses with its mix of history, culture and modern lifestyle.
  • Toompea Hill rises in the centre of Tallinn’s old town, providing a great view of the UNESCO World Heritage Site with its medieval roofs, towers and streets. Learn interesting information about the Hanseatic history on a visit to the Estonian Maritime Museum*, combined with an exciting tour of Tallinn’s creative scene in the Kalamaja district*. Relax with a stroll through the city’s rich tradition of coffee shop culture* with multiple stops to enjoy a taste yourself.
  • Visit historic Riga with its venerable Alberta Street - a "textbook of European Art Nouveau" according to UNESCO - St. Peter's Church and Riga Cathedral. Or you can treat yourself to some relaxation in the popular Baltic Sea resort of Jurmala*, which invites you with its beautiful beach cafés and an endlessly long white sandy beach.
  • Klaipeda is the perfect starting point for an excursion to the Curonian Spit*, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Walk to the thatched red wooden house with blue-and-white shutters that belonged to Thomas Mann from 1929 onwards, which has now been converted into a small museum to commemorate him. Or for something more adventurous, pick up the pace with some land sailing on the beach*.
  • The former Hanseatic city on the Polish Baltic coast is characterised by its long history, which is reflected in its artfully restored medieval core. Visit the famous Marienburg Castle, one of the mightiest knight's castles in Europe, on a walking tour* or combine your exploration on foot with a boat trip on the city's waterways*. An alternative excursion takes you to the popular Baltic Sea resort of Sopot*, a hotspot for bathing fans from all over the country in summer.

Golf & Cruise

On our exclusive Golf & Cruise voyages, we have reserved the best golf courses for you in advance and put together attractive basic packages.

Basispaket: four courses - € 1,990 per person
Golf pro on this cruise: Olaf Schäfer - More about our Pros

This cruise offers a round trip in the Baltic Sea: the golf adventure starts in the north-west near Stockholm before crossing the inland sea once and then heading south along the eastern side. In an area that is not necessarily known for golf, you will be able to enjoy surprising – and, most likely, highly memorable – golfing experiences.

  • Thu 26.06.2025 Stockholm, Sweden – Bro Hof Slott Golf Club – Stadium Course
Two 18-hole courses present outstanding – if very different – options in the typical resort style: the Stadium Course and the Castle Course. Both are characterised by wide fairways, some of which feature extreme changes of direction. Golfers will need their skills to overcome the modulated terrain and avoid the bunkers on the way to the greens, which are rather small compared to the fairways. In addition, you can look forward to a fair number of water hazards on the Stadium Course.

Sat 28.06.2025 Tallin, Estonia – Estonian Golf & Country Club
The direct location of the course on the Baltic Sea gives the championship course the attribute "Sea Course". The manicured fairways clearly set themselves apart from the accompanying rough. The round is made more difficult on some holes by some very lush bunker landscapes. Otherwise, players who know how to keep their ball under control are at an advantage.

Thu 03.07.2025 Klaipeda, Lithuania – National Golf Resort
Lithuania’s golfing pride and joy presents 18 highly expansive fairways. However, serious water hazards also come into play on at least twelve of them. The interesting layout that ensues nevertheless enables a good score for players of all levels. Only the 18th green with its exposed island design presents a particular challenge. An exciting and entertaining round for every fan of golf.

Fri 04.07.2025 Gdansk, Poland – Sierra Golf Resort
The well-maintained 18-hole Parkland Course is one of Poland's golfing showpieces. The extensive course is embedded in the Trojmiasto Landscape Park and, with its sweeping fairways, is located in the immediate vicinity of the Baltic Sea. Those who can find the ideal direction for their ball on the fairways, which are lined with land-relevant bunkers, will be challenged on the final, tricky greens at the latest. A course that nevertheless gives every handicap the chance of a positive result.
