You will gain an insight into the original Mexico on an excursion from Puerto Vallarta to San Sebastian del Oeste*. A picturesque Mexican seaside resort awaits you in Zihuatanejo, which you can explore on a tour*, before you explore Antigua* with the Jade Museum* from Puerto Quetzal. And relaxation is also guaranteed as soon as your gaze falls on the beautiful Pacific Ocean in Acajutla in El Salvador. Mazatlan, the "Pearl of the Pacific" located on a peninsula, spoils its visitors with sun, sand and sea. The holiday paradise with almost 20 kilometres of white sandy beach has around 400,000 inhabitants. There is plenty to discover: you can go snorkelling, swimming and deep-sea fishing or visit the aquarium and botanical gardens.

For anyone visiting this jewel on the west coast of Mexico, it is paradise in two ways. The colourful fishing village of Zihuatanejo (place of women) exudes tradition, heritage and culture of the past, while Ixtapa exudes the image of a new and contemporary tourist mecca. Life in Zihuatanejo is still centred on Playa Principal, the town's main beach. Every morning, the fishermen return to the jetty with their catch. Two popular beaches in the sheltered bay are Playa Las Gatas and La Ropa.

The Steele Canyon Golf Course offers a very special golfing treat. South African golf legend Gary Player has masterfully utilised the natural landscape to create 27 impressive holes. These are divided into the Canyon, Ranch and Vineyard Courses, each offering very different playing options. If the Canyon Course is characterised by rather stately fairways, the Ranch Course sometimes requires players to cover considerable distances from the tee. Even if the fairways are very narrow in places, posing quite some difficulty, the course provides an unforgettable experience beyond the game itself.General Information
- In order to guarantee a comfortable flow of play for all golfers, we have determined a basic speed, which is sufficient for a playing time of 4.5 to 5 hours on foot (covering 18 holes with a trolley).
- Due to tournaments, renovations, etc. at the various golf clubs, our Golf & Cruise programme is subject to change at short notice.
- Golf & Cruise voyages allow all players with a handicap of 36 or less to play on courses all over the world.
- Additional courses can only be booked in conjunction with the basic package.
- The reservation of e-carts cannot always be guaranteed due to local availability and weather conditions. You may, therefore, have to play and walk just with trolleys - possibly even on hilly courses. Please consider this when planning/booking your Golf & Cruise package.
- Halfway refreshments are always ordered via the respective golf club; we have no influence on the quality of the snacks. We kindly ask for your understanding.
- When booking a Golf & Cruise package and flights through Hapag-Lloyd, we will register your golf equipment directly with the airlines – when possible and required. The current baggage regulations of the relevant airline apply. In your travel documents, which you will receive about four weeks prior to departure, you will find relevant information about this. Excess baggage fees for golf equipment are normally to be paid at check-in.
- Minimum number of participants for basic packages: 12 persons.
- Minimum number of participants for additional courses: 10 persons.
- If the minimum number of participants is not reached, cancellation will occur no later than eight weeks prior to cruise departure.
- Rental clubs for right-handed and left-handed players are available on board, subject to a surcharge.
