ddc Breakdance
Well-choreographed stage shows require thinking outside the box, focusing on the fusion of urban dance, especially breakdance, with high-class artistry. This blend has earned the DDC numerous awards. To bring their ideas to life, the DDC collaborates with many artists in an inspiring community.
Founded in Schweinfurt in 1999, the DDC is one of the most renowned breakdance groups in the German-speaking world. As two-time world champions, they regularly perform at gala shows and television appearances internationally. In 2013, they founded their own production company. With "Breakin' Mozart," they combine classical music, opera, and breakdance, having performed over 300 shows across Europe.
The DDC has represented Germany at the Wuqiao International Circus Festival in China, the YOUNG STAGE festival in Basel, and the Monte Carlo Festival. Recently, they’ve toured Germany’s largest venues, performed at "Feuerwerk der Turnkunst," and appeared alongside stars like Florian Silbereisen. A highlight was performing for Barack Obama at a charity event in Kenya.
Today, the DDC is a major name in live entertainment, creating and producing full shows. With their DDC Factory, they teach young talent and have been touring annually since 2023 with "Breakin’ Circus."
rock/pop Music
marina and the kats
Marina & The Kats were formed in 2015 in Graz, Austria, in a small venue where they could play until early morning. They debuted with "Small" (2015) and won the Songwriter Award from the ÖKB for the tracks "Small" and "Dirty" in 2016. Their double album "Wild" followed that year, and with about 90 shows annually, the band’s sound became rougher in their later albums, "Swingsalabim" (2019) and "Different" (2021).
Although based in Vienna, they tour extensively across the globe, performing in Israel, Russia, Germany, France, Spain, Austria, Switzerland, Tunisia, and the USA, including notable festivals such as the Jazztage Ingolstadt and Jazzfestival Ascona.
The band’s unique sound comes from their "Shared Drums" concept, with three of the four members playing drums, which gives their music a distinct, powerful edge—something no other band matches.
