The highlights of this cruise

During the summer months, the Mare Balticum invites you to enjoy a variety of views: experience Scandinavia’s trendy cities, the Baltic Hanseatic cities and their historical heritage as well as the moving landscapes of the north.

Start your cruise in KIEL and, after a day at sea in TALLINN, take a stroll through the old city centre and enjoy marzipan and chocolates in delightful cafes. The next morning greets you with views of the white cathedral of HELSINKI and countless opportunities to discover the design metropolis. Learn more about Finnish food culture* in the TURKU market hall and enjoy STOCKHOLM with all your senses as you explore the capital’s lively districts until the evening. The EUROPA also spends one night in RIGA, whose old town allows you to travel back in time to the Middle Ages. You will come closer to a legend of nature at KLAIPEDA: the dunes and islands of the Curonian Spit* are unforgettable. A walk through GDANSK is reminiscent of the days of the Hanseatic League, with buildings that bear witness to the splendour of this old merchant and religious city. Finally, an evening passage through the Kiel Canal takes you to HAMBURG.

The excursions in the programmes are accompanied by a local tour guide who will be happy to attend to your individual wishes. There will also be enough time and space for your own activities.
