Leave the glittering lights of MONTE CARLO behind you and wake up the next morning to the colourful facades of the pretty harbour of PORTOFINO. Make yourself comfortable on the piazza with a cappuccino, go in search of something special in the luxury boutiques or take in the view of the turquoise-blue bay on a kayak tour*. CALVI welcomes you the next morning. In addition to beautiful beaches, Corsica also boasts lush nature, and in the Bonifatu forest* you can take a dip in the river basin with its bubbling rapids. ST-TROPEZ has always been a hotspot on the French Riviera. It’s easy to fall in love with the flair as you stroll through the lively harbour district and the flower-filled old town. CANNES is likewise full of glamour. You can enjoy life at any time of the day along the legendary promenade, La Croisette, amidst the white sandy beach, chic beach bars and sophisticated hotels. The next morning, it’s time to say goodbye in NICE.

  • Calvi is one of Corsicas most beautiful cities with a small old town filled with winding alleyways and squares dating back hundreds of years. Calvi is the ideal starting point for an excursion into the neighbouring area, especially to see the typical Corsican macchia. Macchia is an exuberant and enchanting mixture of thorn-covered and prickly sclerophyllous plants, trees, bushes and grasses. Typical plants include the common rock rose, phillyria, arbutus, myrtle, broom, buckthorn, thyme, lavender, fennel and rosemary. A special feature of Corsica are the tafoni, created by the weathering of medium to coarse-grained stones. They look somewhat like honeycomb and can be found in an extraordinary variety of shapes.
