The houses of the old town reach up to the steep coastal cliffs, and from here you can already see your next destination, the volcanic island of STROMBOLI. Close to Mount Etna* lies SYRACUSE, which, apart from its archaeological heritage, also boasts fertile wine-growing areas*. Spend your day in the beautiful port of MONOPOLI and look forward to Greece’s most charming views: visit CORFU, the favourite island of Empress Sissi, go in search of historical traces in Tiryns, Mycenae and Epidauros* from NAUPLIA, and indulge in almond pastries in the exclusive tavernas of SPETSES.
