Your cruise with the EUROPA 2 begins in Shanghai and, after a first overnight stay on board, takes you in the direction of Tianjin (Beijing). After a day at sea, you will reach the gateway to China’s capital. You will have two days to take in the glorious city with its 3,000-year city. Alternatively, you can discover the Great Wall of China*, China’s landmark, on a day trip or combine this visit with a guided tour of the Forbidden City*. Both will leave a lasting impression on you. Afterwards, the Chinese city of Qingdao (Tsingtau) and the Japanese city of Nagasaki offer exciting insights before you reach South Korea. From Busan, explore the unique UNESCO World Heritage Site Gyeongju with its richly decorated temples* or learn the traditional martial art of taekwondo**. Afterwards, look forward to the fascinating diversity of Japan once again: discover the young, vibrant city of Fukuoka before heading to the hot springs* of Beppu, where you can indulge in some wellness thanks to the tradition of onsen. Once in Kobe, you will have the opportunity to experience the fascinating ancient imperial city of Kyoto* and the mythical city of Nara*. Finally, the EUROPA 2 will head for multifaceted Tokyo: discover tradition and modernity, the Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park* and much more before your cruise comes to an end.

    * The pre- and post-cruise programmes and shore activities are not included in the cruise price and are in the planning stage. Subject to change.
