Back by popular demand, Hapag-Lloyd Cruises will once again present their popular classical music experience, the Ocean Sun Festival, in conjunction with Deutsche Grammophon, on board the EUROPA in 2014. Well-known classical music stars will transform the EUROPA - a five-stars plus luxury cruise ship - into a festival stage. The 13-day cruise from Travemuende/Germany to Hamburg/Germany, on 31 August - 13 September 2014 will let the guests also experience various European metropolises.

Those who want to experience and enjoy classical music outside a concert hall will find the Ocean Sun Festival, on board the EUROPA, a luxury concert hall afloat. Guest can look forward to high-level classical performers and experience those up-close in a very personal atmosphere on board. This year’s classical artists include the ECHO prize winner and pianist Alexander Krichel, violist Nils Mönkemeyer, soprano singer and “Opera Singer of 2013” Anna Prohaska, pianist Lauma Skide and the musicians of the David Orlowsky trio.

Besides the classical music concerts, the maximum 400 guests on board the EUROPA, will be able to experience impressive attractions in Copenhagen, London, and Amsterdam.
