Find your cruise nowAnnounced last night at “The Wave Awards 2018” ceremony, held at the De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms, London, Hapag-Lloyd Cruises’ was the winner in the category of ‘Best Adventure / Expedition Cruise Line’.
Recognising and rewarding excellence in the cruise holiday sector - and in their third year - The Wave Awards are owned and run by Real Response Media, UK publishers of magazines World of Cruising, Cruise Trade News and Cruise Destinations. The majority of the awards are based on rigorous assessment of submitted entries, judged by an independent panel of cruise travel experts, chaired by World of Cruising editor, Louise Robinson.
Karl J. Pojer, CEO of Hapag-Lloyd Cruises says: “We are delighted at winning the category ‘Best Adventure / Expedition Cruise Line’ at this year's Wave Awards in London, underlining Hapag-Lloyd Cruises’ commitment to striving to achieve the very best standards of hospitality. On accepting the award on the night from The Ambassador of the Argentine Republic, Michael Steffl, Head of International Sales for Hapag-Lloyd Cruises said: “As these prestigious awards set a benchmark standard and recognize, reward and celebrate innovation and excellence within the cruise sector, we are particularly proud to receive this accolade. Such recognition will help us to further achieve our objective of generating more awareness and passengers for Hapag-Lloyd Cruises both internationally and in the UK marketplace.”
