Karl J. Pojer, CEO of Hapag-Lloyd Cruises says: “We are delighted at winning the category ‘Best for Wellbeing/Spa’ and receiving a 'High Commendation' in the category ‘Best for Cuisine’ at this year's Wave Awards in London, underlining Hapag-Lloyd Cruises’ commitment to striving to achieve the very best standards of hospitality. With our fleet of ultra-luxury and expedition vessels we offer outstanding products and holiday experiences and continue with our efforts to improve every day. Both accolades make us very proud and I would like to thank my team back in Hamburg and the crew on board our ships who deliver so well.”
On accepting the award on the night from Katherine Lawrey, Group Editor, Cruise Trade News and Cruise Ports & Destinations, Michael Steffl, Head of International Sales for Hapag-Lloyd Cruises said: “As these prestigious awards set a benchmark for achieving excellence in this significant growth sector of the travel market, we are particularly proud to receive this accolade.
