The EUROPA 2 awaits you in the Greek port city of Piraeus (Athens) for a cruise through the fascinating Aegean Sea. During a stroll through the narrow alleys of Adamas on the island of Milos, you can admire the typical Cycladic architecture – white houses and balconies entwined with flowers characterise the scenery. The next day, Syros offers a colourful contrast with its pastel-coloured classical villas and wonderful old town. In lively Mykonos, a hotspot with jet-set flair, you can enjoy sandy beaches, designer boutiques as well as trendy cafes and beach bars. A day at sea on board the EUROPA 2 increases the joyful anticipation of Volos. Experience unforgettable moments visiting the Meteora monastery complex* in a breathtaking location, some of which are perched on cliffs hundreds of metres high. Cafes, tavernas and small boutiques welcome you to Skiathos, as do a lively atmosphere and long sandy beaches that invite you to enjoy a swim. Kavala is one of the most beautiful cities in Greece and will delight you with its old town while a hike through the Nestos Gorge* is also highly impressive. After passing through the stunning Dardanelles with its fascinating views, you will reach your final destination: Istanbul. Discover the famous Blue Mosque*, the lively bazaar* or the majestic Bosporus with its magnificent marble sultan’s palaces and historic fortresses during a boat trip* before your cruise with the EUROPA 2 ends in the imposing metropolis.

  • Syros boasts a rich history that dates back to ancient times. The island was settled by various civilizations, including the Phoenicians, Romans, Byzantines, and Venetians. In the 19th century, Syros thrived as a trade centre and became the capital of the Cyclades. The architecture of the capital, Ermoupoli, reflects this economic prosperity. Today, Syros is renowned for its cultural diversity, seamlessly blending traditional and modern elements.

  • Famous as a popular destination for sun, beach and nightlife, Mykonos was once an important trading post and a refuge for pirates. The town of Chora, with its narrow streets and charming white houses with blue shutters, is worth exploring. The famous windmills on the hill of Mykonos are an emblem of the island and offer breathtaking views. The island of Delos, a short boat ride from Mykonos, is an archaeological gem and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here you can explore the ancient ruins and immerse yourself in Greek history. Mykonos is a perfect place to enjoy the vibrant nightlife, beautiful beaches and rich history of the island.

  • Volos has a long history. It was an important trading port in ancient times and played a significant role in the Byzantine empire. Today, Volos is a vibrant city with a picturesque promenade and a charming old town. The city is also known for the nearby archaeological site of Dimini and Sesklo. With a population of around 150,000 people, Volos is the third-largest city in Greece.
