Start your cruise in Melbourne, the Australian capital of culture and lifestyle, and set course from here for Tasmania’s impressive coasts. After Port Arthur, Hobart welcomes you, from where you can experience the wonderful Tasmanian landscape during a flight* and a boat trip* in Bathurst Harbour bay. As soon as the EUROPA 2 reaches New Zealand, remote fjords with impressive waterfalls open up as the ship cruises through Milford, Thompson and Doubtful Sound. After a stopover in the fishing village Oban on Stewart Island, the historic Taieri Gorge Railway* awaits you in Port Chalmers for a ride through the rugged landscape. Further north in Lyttelton (Christchurch), you can also take a train ride* – this time in combination with a fast-paced jetboat tour* on the Waimakariri River and an exclusive off-road adventure* at Mount Torlesse. From Picton, the EUROPA 2 will cross the Cook Strait in the direction of Wellington. Wander through the capital of New Zealand before you taste the exquisite specialities of renowned wineries in Hawke’s Bay* in Napier. From Mount Maunganui (Tauranga), you will have the opportunity to explore the natural thermal area of Rotorua* with its geysers before your cruise comes to an end the next day in Auckland.
