    The highlights of this cruise

Popular with the locals, but still a real insider tip here: the Indian summer in the autumn forests of Lapland, known as ruska. After the daytime passage through the Kiel Canal and impressive cruising in the Stockholm Archipelago, you will discover Stockholm. Set course for the magic of colourful nature on an expedition day in the High Coast with skerries, cliffs and forests. Idyllic Harnosand is the starting point for a variety of activities* such as a hike in Skuleskogen National Park*. Seldom-visited destinations await you further in the northern extension of the Baltic Sea. The expedition day in the Kvarken Archipelago takes you through a paradise of more than 5,000 islands. At the northern end of Bothnian Bay, great adventures await you from Lulea: Storfosen, the largest rapids in Scandinavia*, or culture and traditions of the Sami*. On your expedition day in this region, the spirit of adventure will hang in the air before you reach Kemi. Autumn-coloured trees, calm lakes and intoxicating rivers – visit Santa Claus in Rovaniemi* or hike through deep orange-red forests. Look forward to ruska in the Finnish city of Oulo. Vaasa is one of the most beautiful cities on the coast of Finland. Go on a hike* or enjoy a real Finnish sauna experience*. On your expedition day on the Aland Islands, you will be cruising among a group of 6,500 widely scattered islands. Exploring this world will captivate you just as much as cruising off the famous chalk cliffs of the island of Mon. A final image that would even have inspired Caspar David Friedrich.

    * The shore activities are not included in the cruise price and are in the planning stage. Subject to change.
