A visit to Marrakesh*, Morocco’s most fascinating city, will immerse you in a wondrous tale from the Arabian Nights. Things are more active on Lanzarote: Explore the impressive volcanic island in manoeuvrable two-seater electric cars* or follow in the footsteps of the artist Cesar Manrique*, who is best known for his architectural projects and his decisive influence on the sustainable development of Lanzarote. Fuerteventura invites you on a buggy off-road adventure* to hidden valleys and traditional villages before the protected conservation area of the Maspalomas Dunes* will take your breath away on Gran Canaria. With its old colonial buildings and winding streets, Agulo* is considered the most beautiful village on La Gomera – visit it as well as the Garajonay National Park*, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, during an island tour*. Enchanted rainforests await you at the end on La Palma during a hike* before your cruise to the treasures of the Atlantic comes to an end on charming Tenerife, the largest of the Canary Islands.

Start with a visit to the historic Alfama district, where you can stroll around the narrow streets and experience the authentic charm of the city. Visit the impressive Monastery of Jeronimos, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and admire the splendid Manueline architecture. A visit to Belem Tower, a symbol of Portuguese voyages of discovery, is an absolute must. If you want to experience the real Lisbon, take the historic tram line 28 and travel through the city’s narrow streets. At the western foothills of the Sahara, not far from the Atlantic Ocean, 18 parkland-style holes are set in a desert atmosphere. Situated below the Barranco del Cura in a valley, the course features 18 widely spaced fairways. Standing on the fairways, you can’t help but get the impression of a golf course that is more at home in Arizona. Here, too, there is an interesting interplay between the rocky aspects of the surrounding foothills of the mountains and the green areas of the fairways. On a volcanic spur in the south of the island lies this elongated layout with its breathtaking 18 golf holes. The mostly straight and closely-spaced fairways are located on a kind of high plateau above the Atlantic Ocean, resulting in some very exciting courses with unusual final “green areas”. The mixture of the green of the fairways and the blue of the Atlantic creates extremely impressive fairways that make golfers’ hearts beat faster.General Information
- In order to guarantee a comfortable flow of play for all golfers, we have determined a basic speed, which is sufficient for a playing time of 4.5 to 5 hours on foot (covering 18 holes with a trolley).
- Due to tournaments, renovations, etc. at the various golf clubs, our Golf & Cruise programme is subject to change at short notice.
- Golf & Cruise voyages allow all players with a handicap of 36 or less to play on courses all over the world.
- Additional courses can only be booked in conjunction with the basic package.
- The reservation of e-carts cannot always be guaranteed due to local availability and weather conditions. You may, therefore, have to play and walk just with trolleys - possibly even on hilly courses. Please consider this when planning/booking your Golf & Cruise package.
- Halfway refreshments are always ordered via the respective golf club; we have no influence on the quality of the snacks. We kindly ask for your understanding.
- When booking a Golf & Cruise package and flights through Hapag-Lloyd, we will register your golf equipment directly with the airlines – when possible and required. The current baggage regulations of the relevant airline apply. In your travel documents, which you will receive about four weeks prior to departure, you will find relevant information about this. Excess baggage fees for golf equipment are normally to be paid at check-in.
- Minimum number of participants for basic packages: 12 persons.
- Minimum number of participants for additional courses: 10 persons.
- If the minimum number of participants is not reached, cancellation will occur no later than eight weeks prior to cruise departure.
