Sandy Edwards was born in Hamburg-Altona and grew up in a musical household as the daughter of a British-Jamaican mother and a father from Hamburg. Her mother, Dornée, was a singer, composer, and founding member of the Les Humphries Singers, making music a central part of Sandy's life from the very beginning. At just 21 years old, Sandy toured the country as a backing vocalist for German pop artist Sarah Connor while completing several degrees. Today, she is the lead singer of the band NITE CLUB, known for her warm vocal tone and authenticity. Matthias Lutz attended a music-focused high school in Lüneburg and played in youth big bands under the direction of Jiggs Whigham and Peter Herbolzheimer. After studying sound engineering, he worked as a sound designer and sound engineer at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg, composed theater music, and played in bands alongside artists like Roger Cicero and Anna Depenbusch. Together, Sandy Edwards and Matthias Lutz lead their band NITE CLUB (@niteclubband), touring the country while finding tranquility in the picturesque town of Lüneburg.
