Since the founding of Tierra Negra in 1997, guitarists Raughi Ebert and Leo Henrichs have enjoyed an extraordinary international career. Their first concert in Montreal, Canada, led to a recording contract with the country's largest independent label. Their international success has led to concerts in many countries, including prominent guitar festivals in the USA and workshops at universities such as Chicago and Malibu. Alongside guitarist Muriel Anderson, they toured through thirty U.S. states and performed in China, South Korea, and Singapore. Tierra Negra has released seventeen CDs, and their music appears on many important guitar compilations. They have created film and television music for German public television, and their instructional DVDs have become bestsellers. The "Tierra Negra Guitar," introduced in 2001, has been used exclusively by the Gipsy Kings since 2005. The "Campfire" model has been on the market since 2019. Tierra Negra has collaborated with artists such as Klaus Hoffmann, Victor Wooten, and Stanley Jordan, and they have recorded at Abbey Road Studios and the Foo Fighters' studios.

After completing his training as a performer at the Westphalian Drama School in Bochum, Stefan Jürgens secured engagements at several notable theaters, including the Schauspielhaus Bochum, Theater Dortmund, Theater des Westens in Berlin, and the Bremer Theater am Goetheplatz. In 1993, he gained nationwide fame with the comedy show "RTL Samstag Nacht." He then portrayed the Berlin "Tatort" detective Robert Hellmann and participated in numerous national and international TV and film productions. From 2007 to 2012, he took on the lead role of Carl Ribarski in the German-Austrian production "Soko Wien." Alongside his acting career, Stefan Jürgens also pursues a career as a musician. Since 2002, he has released six studio albums. For his achievements, he has received awards such as the Bavarian TV Award, the Bambi, the Austrian Romy, and the Austrian Nestroy Theatre Award. Stefan Jürgens lives in Berlin and the Prignitz region of Brandenburg. Ralf Kiwit was born in 1965 in Wanne-Eickel. After graduating from high school and completing his alternative service, he studied music with a major in saxophone at the Detmold University of Music. During his studies, he worked as a musician on theater stages in North Rhine-Westphalia, where he learned to play additional instruments. In the 1990s, he was a permanent member of Marianne Rosenberg's band. In the following years, he composed and staged various musicals as a theater composer. With his own band "Sonic BANG!" and others, he traveled the globe. He has been a permanent member of the Dortmund Saxophone Quartet "Multicolore" for over 30 years. During his school days, he played with actor and musician Stephan Jürgens, whom he continues to accompany on stage to this day. When Ralf Kiwit is not on tour, he composes and produces music in his own "Subtone Tonstudio" for publishers, theaters, museums, advertisements, and films.

David Marx, born in Stuttgart in 1968, is many things: father, husband, speaker, mentor, designer, entertainer, and avant-gardist with a penchant for minimalism and a strong drive for innovation, characterized by radical approaches to existing aesthetic and culinary norms.
