Individual travel arrangements to Hamburg, departure 19.00 hrs
Heligoland, from 7.00 to 13.00 hrs
Heligoland has one of the most impressive natural landmarks in northern Germany in store for you: the fiery red rock needle Lange Anna, over 45 m high. Gannets and numerous bird species can be observed here. Within sight and reach is one of Germany's small nature reserves: at the Guillemot Rock, guillemots hunt for crabs and small fish. You, on the other hand, are looking for spectacular panoramas, which you will discover on a walk along the 2.8 km cliff edge path or on a ride with the Zodiac.
Zeebrugge/Belgium, from 13.00 to 20.00 hrs
A diverse array of experiences also awaits in Belgium when you arrive in Zeebrugge. Avant-garde fashion, fine chocolates and the adventures of Tintin and Snowy: Belgian artistry is world-renowned, following in the tradition of the Flemish painter Jan van Eyck, the master of naturalism. The medieval times will still feel just as alive as they do in his oil paintings as you experience romantic Brugge* in the town centre and on a canal trip, for instance. Van Eyck’s famous winged altarpiece, typical guildhalls and a glimpse over a chocolatier’s shoulder: what will be your favourite sensory experience on a walking tour of Ghent*?
Isle of Wight/Great Britain, from 10.30 to 18.30 hrs
Fowey, from 7.00 to 17.00 hrs
The town of Fowey has a Mediterranean feel, beautiful scenery and a mild climate, making it the ideal place from which to explore the highlights of Cornwall*. The sea rages against the rocks and the fishing villages are filled with romance, just like the novels of Rosamunde Pilcher, whose birthplace you will visit.
Douarnenez/France, from 9.00 to 19.00 hrs
France has its very own stories to tell in Brittany. From the small fishing port of Douarnenez, a city walk through Quimper* is like a lesson in architecture among the half-timbered houses and the Gothic Breton style of the cathedral. A hike on Cap Sizun* reveals beautiful creations of rock and sand. As you gaze out over the vast sea from the cliffs, you can feel the pioneering spirit of the seafaring nations that await your arrival.
Relaxation at sea
La Coruna/Spain, from 7.00 to 16.30 hrs

From here, head to a place of pilgrimage for the cult of St James and many architecture fans – Santiago de Compostela*. The famous cathedral and the old town with its ancient buildings and streets are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

The HANSEATIC inspiration will stay overnight – so you’ll have time to stroll through the streets of Funchal at your leisure.
