    Hanke Brothers - Music

Diversity, the joy of experimentation, exploring new frontiers - these are the four brothers' lifeblood. Each of them does it in a very special way, most impressively when all four of them are on stage. The rule is: no concert is like any other, no piece is as you know it and the instruments do not always play what you expect. The HANKE BROTHERS take the audience out of their reserve, surprise them, take them along and lead them with verve and bravura to clamorous ovations. "We touch hearts, that's why we're here." The four biographies are as colorful as the repertoire of this exceptional ensemble. Together, they have found a "musical dialect" on stage that has never been heard before! Jeunesses Musicales Deutschland awarded them the honorary title of "JM artist" and they were accepted into the "be a mover" network of Daimler AG. They have already made their debuts at the Ludwigsburger Schlossfestspiele, the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival, the Gezeitenkonzerte, Heidelberger Frühling and Mozartfest Würzburg, among others.

Experience the world’s best golf courses with Hapag-Lloyd Cruises.

On our exclusive Golf & Cruise voyages, we have reserved the best golf courses for you in advance and put together attractive basic packages.

    Basic package: Four courses
    € 1,990 per person

The possibilities of the Portuguese islands and the Spanish mainland are waiting to be discovered on this route, which is also highly interesting from a golfing perspective. After all, the geological conditions are just as varied as the names of the individual golf courses. – A multifaceted experience for curious minds.

Tue 13.08.2024 Praia da Vitoria/Terceira (Azores), Portugal – Clube de Golfe da Ilha Terceira
This 18-hole paradise lies 375 m (1,230 ft) above sea level. Nestled in a sea of flowering azaleas and hydrangeas, the rather broad fairways make their way through lush green vegetation, providing players of any level with a fair foundation for a good score. The only drawback of the proximity to the Atlantic, combined with the elevation, is that it makes the course very susceptible to wind. – Take care when choosing your club.

Thu 15.08.2024 Ponta Delgada/Sao Miguel (Azores), Portugal – Campo de Golfe das Furnas
Golf was played here on a nine-hole course back in 1936, which makes this one of the oldest golfing options in the Azores. The 18 British-style holes have been here since 1992, running past very mature trees in places. Despite this, the fairways are relatively broad and lead to very playable greens. The clubhouse is definitely a highlight at the end – in very British fashion.

Sun 18.08.2024 Porto Santo (Madeira), Portugal – Porto Santo Golf
Golfing legend Severiano Ballesteros made a dream come true here and created an 18-hole challenge. The champion deftly integrated the natural geological conditions into his design. He divided it into a north course, which runs along the coastal cliffs in spectacular style, and the south course, which features plenty of water in a more American fashion. The course also offers a remarkable six par 5 holes. The club’s location means that on some days, the wind off the Atlantic has its say on the scorecard.

Thu 22.08.2024 Marbella, Spain – Club de Golf Finca Cortesin
A host of the Solheim Cup in 2023, this parkland course brings some unique qualities to the Andalusian hills. The sweeping fairways are shaped by the natural conditions and some heavily modulated playing areas in places. This makes for an exciting and challenging game, which is also influenced by well-positioned bunkers. Particular attention is paid to the handicap index on this course: Gentlemen: – 28 / Ladies: – 36.

    GENERAL INFORMATION

    • In order to guarantee a comfortable flow of play for all golfers, we have determined a basic speed, which is sufficient for a playing time of 4.5 to 5 hours on foot (covering 18 holes with a trolley).
    • Due to tournaments, renovations, etc. at the various golf clubs, our Golf & Cruise programme is subject to change at short notice.
    • Golf & Cruise voyages allow all players with a handicap of 36 or less to play on courses all over the world.
    • Additional courses can only be booked in conjunction with the basic package.
    • The reservation of e-carts cannot always be guaranteed due to local availability and weather conditions. You may, therefore, have to play and walk just with trolleys - possibly even on hilly courses. Please consider this when planning/booking your Golf & Cruise package.
    • Halfway refreshments are always ordered via the respective golf club; we have no influence on the quality of the snacks. We kindly ask for your understanding.
    • When booking a Golf & Cruise package and flights through Hapag-Lloyd, we will register your golf equipment directly with the airlines – when possible and required. The current baggage regulations of the relevant airline apply. In your travel documents, which you will receive about four weeks prior to departure, you will find relevant information about this. Excess baggage fees for golf equipment are normally to be paid at check-in.
    • Minimum number of participants for basic packages: 12 persons.
    • Minimum number of participants for additional courses: 10 persons.
    • If the minimum number of participants is not reached, cancellation will occur no later than eight weeks prior to cruise departure.
    • Rental clubs for right-handed and left-handed players are available on board, subject to a surcharge.
