The Florida Keys mark the southernmost point of the USA. There is a laid-back charm to this place where Ernest Hemingway once wrote his books. See the Hemingway Home and many other sights with a ride on the Conch Train*, a little island train for day trippers. If you fancy some more speed, head out on a jet ski* in search of dolphins.
Relaxation at sea
Gustavia/Saint-Barthelemy/France , 13.00 – 0.00 hrs
This hideaway for many famous figures feels like it was made for relaxation and sunbathing in the fine sands. A trip* across the island provides an overview of interesting sights such as the former home of the dancer Rudolf Nureyev. Explore the best spots for snorkelling with a tour by RIB*.
Marigot/St Martin/France , 6.00 – 19.00 hrs
Once a small fishing village, Marigot is now the capital of the French part of St Martin, whereas the southern part belongs to the Netherlands. Why not explore both spheres of influence in one go with a guided tour* flying the French and Dutch flags? One highlight here is the regatta* with original America’s Cup yachts and the chance to assist the experienced skippers.

Caribbean temperament and a dash of savoir vivre welcome you to the French overseas department of Martinique. The programme of activities offers a hike* through the rainforest or an all-terrain vehicle tour* to the green heart of the island.
Bequia/Grenadines/St Vincent and the Grenadines , 8.00 – 18.00 hrs
As part of the Grenadines, Bequia is another member of the Lesser Antilles family and an ideal spot for pure beach life. The capital, Port Elizabeth, on the west side of the island is a popular harbour for yachts, with many hotels, restaurants and shops. The local whaling museum offers fascinating insights into the island’s maritime history.
Roseau/Dominica/Lesser Antilles/Dominica, 8.00 – 19.00 hrs
Exotic rainforest, mango trees and hot springs shape the unspoiled nature of Dominica. Take a rowing boat tour* through the mangroves on the Indian River or enjoy simply floating along the island’s longest river on a rubber ring*.
Basseterre/Saint Kitts/Saint Kitts and Nevis, 8.00 – 18.00 hrs
Picturesque little towns, lush vegetation and a lively programme of activities are the hallmarks of this Antilles island. As well as a quad bike tour*, there is also a ride on the sugar train* to look forward to. The single-track rail network was built at the beginning of the 20th century to transport sugar cane and now takes visitors into the heart of vibrant island life.
Norman Island/British Virgin Islands/Great Britain , 8.00 – 17.00 hrs
The uninhabited Norman Island is mainly a port of call for sailors. One last chance to enjoy fabulous bays and beaches with some relaxing hours by the sea.
