Honningsvag is full of colourful houses and countless fishing boats. From here, head to the North Cape plateau* at a height of around 300 m (984 ft), where the bright midsummer night creates a special atmosphere.

The gateway to the Arctic Ocean and starting point for many Arctic expeditions is waiting to be discovered. Visit the Arctic Cathedral* and the exhibits at the Polaria centre*. You can also expect a warm welcome from the Albrigtsen family*, who train and look after around 200 Alaskan huskies. Norway’s most famous fjord stretches 15 km (9.3 mi.) and is surrounded by steep rock faces up to 1,500 m (4,921 ft) in height. Enjoy the panoramic view from your front-row seat on your private veranda, see the land with an excursion to the Dalsnibba* with its impressive view, or paddle a kayak* to the “Seven Sisters” waterfalls.
