Golf legend Gary Player has created the region's first "beachfront" golf experience here between sandy beaches and desert sands. The gem was already named the best course in the United Arab Emirates in 2015! Due to the location, the 18 holes have over 60 sand hazards, which are often very present in the way of the score. Nevertheless, a unique experience with impressive perspectives that combine the fairways, natural desert landscape and Arabian Gulf with each other!

Just outside the city, this 18-hole Champions Course is nestled in the finest desert sand. With a history of just 20 years, it is already one of the oldest courses in the region. The layout demands thoughtful course management on every hole. If you leave the ideal line, you automatically have to play from the original sandy ground. - It is virtually a game against the "biggest bunker in the world"!

This golf course surrounded by the desert sands bears the trademark of Colin Montgomerie. The Scottish professional golfer has transformed the desert landscape into a desert links course. The 18 fairways feature 14 lakes and 81 strategically placed bunkers. The world’s elite have been meeting here regularly since 2006.

GENERAL INFORMATION

• In order to guarantee a comfortable flow of play for all golfers, we have determined a basic speed, which is sufficient for a playing time of 4.5 to 5 hours on foot (covering 18 holes with a trolley).
• Due to tournaments, renovations, etc. at the various golf clubs, our Golf & Cruise programme is subject to change at short notice.
• Golf & Cruise voyages allow all players with a handicap of 36 or less to play on courses all over the world. 
• Additional courses can only be booked in conjunction with the basic package.
• The reservation of e-carts cannot always be guaranteed due to local availability and weather conditions. You may, therefore, have to play and walk just with trolleys - possibly even on hilly courses. Please consider this when planning/booking your Golf & Cruise package. 
• Halfway refreshments are always ordered via the respective golf club; we have no influence on the quality of the snacks. We kindly ask for your understanding.
• When booking a Golf & Cruise package and flights through Hapag-Lloyd, we will register your golf equipment directly with the airlines – when possible and required. The current baggage regulations of the relevant airline apply. In your travel documents, which you will receive about four weeks prior to departure, you will find relevant information about this. Excess baggage fees for golf equipment are normally to be paid at check-in.
• Minimum number of participants for basic packages: 12 persons.
• Minimum number of participants for additional courses: 10 persons.
• If the minimum number of participants is not reached, cancellation will occur no later than eight weeks prior to cruise departure.
• Rental clubs for right-handed and left-handed players are available on board, subject to a surcharge.
