A 56 km long road goes around the flat island paradise. The land is full of undulating hills, beautiful beaches, numerous salt water lakes and amazing reefs that surround the greater part of the island. Enjoy a relaxed day on the island, stroll through the village or take a sunbath at one of the fine sandy beaches.
Relaxation at sea
St.John's/Antigua/Antigua & Barbuda, 7.00 - 18.00 hrs
Gustavia is the capital of the French island of Saint Barthelemy, but its red tiled roofs, however, are more reminiscent of a Swedish town. Bridgetown/Barbados , 7.00 – 19.00 hrs
Very British: driving on the left and afternoon tea. Truly Caribbean: palm trees and sugar cane plantations. Look forward to Barbados’ irresistible blend – and the old town, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Possible activities: a Segway adventure*, a catamaran trip with snorkelling* or a canopy tour*.

He studied in Paris and in 1998 he was awarded first prize at the International Harp Competition in Bloomington, Indiana, immediately becoming the first French musician to join the ranks of the prestigious Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. Aside from commissions from composers such as Kaija Saariaho, he performs works like Smetana’s “Ma Vlast" with breathtaking precision, presenting masterful arrangements of works that are usually played by an entire orchestra. The interpretation of these works, that few harpists before him have even considered playing, has contributed to his reputation as one of the most creative and extraordinary musicians of his generation. Xavier de Maistre has appeared with major orchestras under the direction of such eminent conductors as Bertrand de Billy, Lionel Bringuier, Daniele Gatti, Kristjan Järvi, Philippe Jordan, Riccardo Muti, Andrés Orozco-Estrada and André Previn. He performs at many leading international festivals, including Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival, Salzburg Festival, Budapest Spring Festival and Mostly Mozart in New York. He collaborates with such chamber music partners as Diana Damrau, Magali Mosnier, Daniel Müller-Schott, Baiba Skride and Arabella Steinbacher. Since 2001 Xavier de Maistre has taught at the Hamburg Academy of Music. He also gives regular masterclasses at New York’s Juilliard School of Music, Tokyo’s Toho University and London’s Trinity College of Music.
closeTue 27.11 St. John’s – Cedar Valley Golf Club
The course features diverse landscapes and some significant height differences of up to 100 m (328 ft). The lack of water on the island means that the terrain can be very hard in places, and the small club house also gives a somewhat rustic impression. Nevertheless, this course offers connoisseurs an extremely interesting golfing experience.
Mi 28.11. Marigot Bay / St. Lucia – Sandals St. Lucia Golfclub
Thu 30.11 Bridgetown – Sandy Lane Country Club
A course that you would expect from the Caribbean. A true gift! Even the great Tiger Woods played a round here after spending his wedding night at the hotel next door. The resident caddies make these 18 holes a real experience: the Rastafarians, who are often almost too relaxed, are worthy successors to Bob Marley, both in their appearance and their habitus.
Mon 04.12 Cartagena – TPC Cartagena at Karibana golf club
This resort course presents players with wide, open fairways and tricky greens. Jack Nicklaus has created a wonderful combination of challenging golf and enjoyable games directly on the Pacific. The second nine holes are a particular test of a player’s concentration. Remember to pack your camera along with your clubs and balls.
