Tue 15.12 – Durban – Durban Country Club
Despite the competition in George and Sun City, the Durban Country Club golf course remains the best golf course in South Africa. No other course in the country has so frequently hosted the South African Open and other championships. The course is right next to the Indian Ocean and was masterfully formed from the dunes. The course was opened in 1922 and redesigned in 1959. Certain holes are extremely difficult. The 12th hole, with its elevated green, is also known as the “Prince of Wales”.
Thu 17.12 – Port Elizabeth – Humewood GC
This course runs along the coastline and is one of the most challenging in South Africa. Countless lapwings will follow your game on the rolling fairways and in the deep bunkers.
