This cruise is a veritable grand tour around the British Isles with an excursion across to Ireland. This means the very finest golfing at courses that sometimes come very close to the origins of the game. Whether you prefer a links, parkland or resort course, there is certainly plenty of variety on this cruise.
Wed 06.09.2023 Leith, Scotland – Dalmahoy Country Club – East Course
The championship course offers the entire spectrum of international golf design. The first nine holes feature very spacious fairways with hardly any roughs. By contrast, the second half of the course demands extreme precision as the fairways run close to the densely packed mature trees. It’s no coincidence that the course has previously been chosen to host the Solheim Cup.
Fri 08.09.2023 Invergordon, Scotland – Fortrose & Rosemarkie Golf Links
One of the oldest golf courses in Scotland is waiting for you. The golf community has been fascinated by the links since 1793. On a peninsula in the Moray Firth you will find the 18 long, narrow holes in typical links style. Whereby you come across numerous pot bunkers, which obviously originate from the pen of five-time Open champion James Braid. He reworked the course in 1932 after the model of Royal Dornoch. All in all, a very nice Scottish golf experience!
Mon 11.09.2023 Liverpool, England – West Lancashire Golf Club
A typical northern English links course awaits golfing fans here. The narrow fairways can be very undulating in places and lead past impenetrable roughs to fast, expansive greens. Add to all this a strong wind off the coast and it might feel like you’ve almost got a fourth opponent. – A really genuine round of golf, made in England.
Tue 12.09.2023 Dublin, Ireland – Druids Glen Golf Resort
Another beautiful and typically British-style golfing experience awaits you here. The fairways are laid out in the parkland fashion and framed by mature trees that watch play unfold from a generous distance. The landing areas in front of the greens are surrounded by some serious bunkers in places. Concentration and ability will help with a short game.
