A golf cruise in the Persian Gulf means games in golfing oases. Some of the courses seem unreal and you may feel like you are standing before a mirage, but this dream really has come true.
Wed 19.01.2022 Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates – Yas Links Abu Dhabi
This 18-hole links adventure sits right by the Abu Dhabi Formula 1 racetrack and Ferrari World. The elongated course designed by Kyle Phillips is the first real links course in the Arab region. The fairways have some strong modulation in places and feel never-ending as they sweep through the unspoilt desert sand and outer reaches of the Persian Gulf, promising an exciting round of golf.
Thu 20.01.2022 Abu Dhabi – Abu Dhabi Golf Club – National Course
The 27-hole championship course, site of the PGA European Tour Abu Dhabi Golf Championship, presents a tough but fair challenge with its lush fairways, strategically placed bunkers and generously proportioned greens.
Mon 24.01.2022 Muscat, Oman – Al Mouj Golf
“The Shark” has designed a links course beyond compare here among Oman’s desert landscape. Greg Norman has conjured up a very special golfing oasis between the beach and desert, where every tee box is an experience. The golf professional has skilfully managed to integrate interesting perspectives of the surrounding landscapes into almost every hole.
