The Australian golfing icon Greg Norman has really gone to town here. Believe it or not, he has created a golfing paradise of five nine-hole courses with amazing variety. The diverse courses weave between old pine trees and also take you along straight fairways adorned with numerous bunkers. The route to your destination is almost always straightforward.

The very expansive design of Mallorca's oldest golf course is characterised by well-kept, ingrown holes. It offers challenges as well as positive experiences for all levels of players. The course, which was initiated in 1964, is now equipped with the latest technology. For example, the fairways are irrigated exclusively with recycled water and the players have GPS distance measurement in the golf carts. The course you should definitely have played on the island.

In the hills of Andalusia lies this high-class 18-hole course with its broad, playable fairways, surrounded by groups of mature trees bearing fruits such as avocados, figs, oranges, lemons and mangoes. The fifth hole even passes cork trees that are over 500 years old. With two tee boxes, players of all levels can find a challenge to suit.

This regal course lends itself to a numerical breakdown: 10,000 trees across 61 hectares (151 acres), 90 strategically placed bunkers and nine artificial lakes to negotiate during a round. This interesting framework creates a par 72 championship course with a length of 6,529 metres (7,140 yards). The Spanish professional golfer José Mario Olazábal has created the perfect playground for players of any level. The day is rounded off beautifully with a sherry tasting.
GENERAL INFORMATION
After his time as an amateur and professional golfer, he was a full-time national trainer to the German men’s team from 1998 to 2004. His players have gained titles such as European vice-champion and have won more than 25 international championships all over Europe. He has been an instructor at Golfclub Hamburg-Ahrensburg since April 2004 and is one of the men’s co-trainers for the national Golf Team Germany.
