Experience inspiring scenes on stage and meet experts from the world of theatre while being treated to an exclusive premiere. Watch the stage adaptation of Karsten Dusse’s humorous bestselling crime thriller Achtsam morden (A Mindful Murder) on board before its first performance ashore at the Altonaer Theater in Hamburg.
The Hamburg Kammerspiele theatre will also be showing a brilliant adaptation of Heinrich Heine’s classic Germany. A Winter’s Tale with musical accompaniment. In what the SHZ newspaper group calls a “magical moment of theatre” on board, the chamber play Die Dinge meiner Eltern (The Things of My Parents) will be shown in a specially adapted performance for the EUROPA. As touching as it is funny, the play is a co-production of the Theater Unikate, the Hamburg Kammerspiele theatre and the Theater Wolfsburg.
The renowned stage actor Peter Bause has prepared some wonderful anecdotes looking back on 60 years of working in theatre, while the actress Gilla Cremer will perform a staged reading. You can look forward to a diverse range of performances in an intimate setting on board the EUROPA.
